Respectant l'esprit des 22 engagements, il améliore le cadre électoral et les conditions pour la préparation de nouvelles élections législatives, il aborde les questions relatives à la sécurité et à l’impunité, il prévoit aussi la poursuite des réformes institutionnelles et la mise en place d’un gouvernement d’Union Nationale et il crée un mécanisme de suivi et de bonne application des engagements souscrits auquel participeront les observateurs notamment le Burkina Faso, la CEDEAO et l’UE.
Respecting the spirit of the 22 undertakings, it improves the electoral framework and the conditions for preparing a fresh general election, tackles the issues of security and impunity, provides for institutional reforms to be taken forward and for a government of national unity to be established, and creates a mechanism for monitoring and ensuring the proper implementation of the undertakings given, in which the observers, in particular Burkina Faso, ECOWAS and the EU, will take part.
