(d) to determine an aggregate of 180 days of honourable service performed outside Canada, beginning on October 20, 2004 and still continuing, as part of, or in direct support of, a NATO operation or mission, on the condition that the service has not been acknowledged by an award of any other honour that is part of, or is recognized by, the Canadian Honours System, to be special service within the meaning of those Regulations; and

b) de définir comme service spécial au sens de ce règlement le cumul de 180 jours de service honorable accompli, depuis novembre 1947, dans le cadre des opérations internationales de maintien de la paix énumérées à l’annexe ci-jointe, conformément aux normes internationales en matière de médailles de service établies par les Nations Unies et d’autres organisations internationales et déjà acceptées par le gouvernement canadien, lequel service n’a été reconnu par aucune autre distinction honorifique faisant partie du régime des distinctions honorifiques canadiennes ou acceptée au sein de ce régime;
(b) to determine an aggregate of 180 days of honourable service in peacekeeping operations, listed in the Annex attached hereto, from the beginning of international peacekeeping operations on November 1947 and still continuing, in accordance with the international norms established by the United Nations and other international organizations in respect of service medals already approved by the Canadian Government, which service has not been recognized by any other award in or accepted into the Canadian system of honours, to be special service within the meaning of those Regulations;

b) qualifie de service spécial au sens de ce règlement un cumul de 30 jours de service honorable accompli, depuis le 11 juin 1984, à l’extérieur du Canada dans le cadre de toute opération de service humanitaire figurant à l’annexe ci-après, y compris le sauvetage, le secours et la reconstruction, menée à la suite de désastres naturels et de conflits, pourvu que le service n’ait été reconnu par aucune autre distinction honorifique faisant partie du régime des distinctions honorifiques canadiennes ou acceptée au sein de ce régime;
(b) determines that an aggregate of 30 days of honourable service performed outside Canada since June 11, 1984 in support of any humanitarian operation, conducted in response to a disaster or human conflict, set out in the schedule attached hereto, including rescue, relief and reconstruction operations, provided the service has not been acknowledged by the award of any other honour that is part of or is recognized by the Canadian Honours System, is special service within the meaning of those Regulations; and
