Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of Recommendation 155 of the Report of the Legislative Review Advisory Group entitled " Not just Numbers: A Canadian Framework for Future Immigration" , particularly issues relating to removal and detention (See Minutes of Proceeding of Wednesday, February 18, 1998, Meeting No. 10. ) It was agreed, - That a budget in the amount of $6,357.41 to allow the Chair of the Committee to visit Canadian and national immigration offices in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand and Thai refugee camps be adopted for submission to the Liaison Committee.
