M. FLYNN a félicité tous les participants, dont le niveau a été considéré remarquablement élevé par le jury (présidé par M. GIL ROBLES-GIL DELGADO, membre du Parlement européen), et s'est déclaré frappé de la grande sensibilité qui transparaît dans bon nombre de contributions envers un problème ni facile à aborder ni simple à résoudre, mais où le pouvoir de l'écrit est si important pour susciter une prise de conscience.
Complimenting all the entrants on what the jury - under the Chairmanship of Mr GIL ROBLES-GIL DELGADO, MEP - considered to be a remarkably high standard, Mr FLYNN said that he was struck by the great sensitivity indicated in many of the entries on an issue which is neither comfortable nor straight-forward, but where the power of the written word to raise awareness is so important.
