Je reviens sur le fait que cela fait deux ans depuis la publication du rapport de Mme Andrikienė sur le développement du Conseil des droits de l’homme des Nations unies, et notamment le rôle de l’Union, et sur les résolutions qui ont été adoptées depuis ce rapport.
I reflect on the fact that it is two years since the publication of Ms Andrikienė’s report on the development of the UN Human Rights Council, including the role of the EU, and on the resolutions that have been passed since that report was produced.

Mais tout d’abord, je suis très reconnaissante à Mme Andrikienė pour son rapport qui répond au rapport annuel de l’Union européenne sur les droits de l’homme et expose la vision du Parlement européen pour améliorer l’efficacité de notre approche des droits de l’homme dans l’Union européenne.
But first of all I am very grateful to Dr Andrikienė for her report which responds to the EU’s annual report on human rights and sets out the European Parliament’s vision for how we can make our approach to human rights in the European Union more effective.
