(ii) if the aggregate of the annual rate at which the second pension of the recipient is payable, together with the annual rate at which the first pension of the recipient is payable, exceeds the annual rate specified for such recipient in Column I of Schedule B, the annual rate at which the second pension of the recipient is payable shall, for the purposes of these Regulations, be deemed to be payable at a rate equal to the annual rate determined by subtracting from the annual rate specified for such recipient in Column I of Schedule B, the annual rate at which the first pension of the recipient is payable and the rate so determined shall be increased in accordance with section 3,

c) si le taux annuel de la première pension du bénéficiaire est inférieur au taux annuel spécifié dans la colonne 1 de l’annexe III pour sa catégorie, mais que l’ensemble du taux annuel des première et seconde pensions du bénéficiaire dépasse le taux annuel spécifié dans la colonne 1 de l’annexe III pour sa catégorie, le taux annuel de chacune des pensions dudit bénéficiaire doit être accru suivant la formule énoncée à l’article 3 et, pour les objets du présent alinéa, le taux annuel de la seconde pension est réputé un montant égal au résultat qu’on obtient en soustrayant, du taux annuel spécifié dans la colonne 1 de l’annexe III pour la catégorie à laquelle le bénéficiaire appartient, le taux annuel de sa première pension.
(c) if the annual rate of the first pension of the recipient is less than the annual rate specified in column 1 of Schedule III for the class to which the recipient belongs, but the aggregate of the annual rate of the first and second pensions of the recipient exceeds the annual rate specified in column 1 of Schedule III for the class to which the recipient belongs, the annual rate of each of the pensions of that recipient shall be increased in accordance with the formula set out in section 3, and for the purposes of this paragraph the annual rate of the second pension shall be deemed to be an amount equal to the resultant obtained by subtracting from the annual rate specified in column 1 of Schedule III for the class to which the recipient belongs, the annual rate of the first pension of the recipient.
