- Pour ce qui concerne la zone frontalière, à ce stade, la Commission serait disposée à envisager une certaine souplesse pour la délimitation de cette zone dans les accords bilatéraux, si la définition fournie dans le règlement devait déboucher, dans certains cas précis, sur des situations contraires à l’esprit du règlement qui prévoit l’extension exceptionnelle de la zone frontalière afin de ne pas scinder artificiellement une entité locale.
- With regard to the border area, at this stage, the Commission would be prepared to consider allowing some flexibility on delimitation of the border area in a bilateral agreement if the definition provided by the LBT Regulation were to lead in individual cases to situations which are against the spirit of the Regulation, which provides for an exceptional extension of the border area in order not to split a community artificially.
