Pour atteindre cet objectif, le projet pilote comporte quatre "domaines d'action" liés entre eux, à savoir : - un service de consultation et d'assistance technique pour les régions frontalières de la Communauté, et en particulier pour l'élaboration et la mise en oeuvre des plans à soumettre dans le cadre de l'initiative INTERREG en faveur des régions frontalières; en 1990, l'accent sera mis principalement sur les régions frontalières concernées par l'objectif nº1 (Portugal/Espagne; Irlande/Irlande du Nord; Corse/Sardaigne; frontières extérieures grecques); - constitution d'une base de données sur les projets de coopération, les structures institutionnelles et organisationnelles transfrontières, ainsi que sur les obstables au commerce transfrontalier et aux échanges sociaux; - encouragement de la création de réseaux dans et entre les régions frontalières; - information et publicité.
To this end, the pilot project contains four interlinking "action fields", namely: - an advisory and technical assistance service for border areas of the Community, in particular for the preparation and implementation of plans to be submitted in the framework of the INTERREG initiative for border regions; in 1990, the main focus will be on Objective 1 border areas (Portugal/Spain; Ireland/Northern Ireland; Corsica/Sardinia; Greek external borders); - the establishment of a data base on cooperation projects, cross-border institutional and organisational structures, and on obstacles to cross-border trade and social interchange; - the promotion of networking within and between border regions; - information and publicity.
