– having regard to the agreement on an EU-Libya cooperation agenda on migration, which was signed on 4 October 2010 in Tripoli by Commissioner Malmström, Commissioner Füle and, on behalf of Libya, Mr Moussa Koussa, Secretary of the General People's Committee for Foreign Liaison and International Cooperation, and Mr Yunis Al-Obeidi, Secretary of the General People's Committee for Public Security,

(i) demande au Conseil et à la Commission de proposer une assistance à la Libye, avec la participation du HCR, de l'OIM, du CIDPM et d'autres organismes spécialisés, afin de s'attaquer au problème de la traite des êtres humains dans la région, en accordant une attention particulière à la protection des femmes et des enfants, et notamment en lui apportant de l'aide pour intégrer les immigrés en situation régulière et améliorer la situation des migrants en situation irrégulière sur son territoire; dans cette optique, salue l'accord signé par M Malmström et M. Füle, membres de la Commission, et les autorités libyennes en octobre 2010 sur des objectifs en matière de coopération dans le domaine de l'immigration;
(i) Calls on the Council and the Commission to propose assistance to Libya, involving UNHCR, IOM, ICMPD and other expert agencies, aimed at addressing the problem of trafficking of human beings in the region, with special attention to the protection of women and children, including assistance to integrate legal migrants and to improve conditions for migrants found illegally in the country; to this effect welcomes the agreement on a migration cooperation agenda signed between Commissioners Mälmstrom and Füle and the Libyan authorities in October 2010;

Le 14 octobre 2010, M. Štefan Füle, commissaire européen en charge de l'élargissement et de la politique de voisinage, passera une journée à Chypre pour une série de rencontres et l'ouverture du point de passage de Limnitis/Yeşilırmak.
Štefan Füle, European Commission for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy, will pay a one day visit to Cyprus on 14 October 2010 in order to have a series of meetings and attend the opening of the Limnitis/Yeşilırmak crossing point.
