F. whereas violations of fundamental freedoms and human rights remain widespread in Egypt; whereas violence, incitement and harassment against political opponents, journalists and civil society activists further increased in the run-up to the referendum; whereas many political and civil society activists, including Alaa Abdel Fattah, Mohamed Abdel from the Egyptian Centre for Economic and Social Rights, and Ahmed Maher and Ahmed Douma, leaders of the April 6 movement, as well as members of various political parties, were arrested and convicted over the past weeks; whereas on 12 January 2014 the Egyptian National Council for Human Rights released a report after having visited the aforementioned prominent activists in Tora prison, criticising their conditions of detention and calling for an end to their mistreatment;

3. demande une fois encore la libération immédiate et inconditionnelle de toutes les personnes détenues au seul motif d'avoir exercé leur droit à la liberté d'expression et de réunion pacifique, notamment des militantes des droits de l'homme Yara Salam et Sanaa Ahmed Seif; demande la libération immédiate d'Alaa Abdoul Fattah, militant des droits de l'homme, et de Mahinour Al-Masri, juriste spécialisé en ce domaine, et l'annulation de leurs lourdes peines de prison; demande aux autorités d'annuler l'interdiction injustifiée du Mouvement de la jeunesse du 6 avril ainsi que les condamnations prononcées à l'encontre de ses militants, y compris Ahmed Maher et Mohamed Adel;

Calls, once again, for the immediate and unconditional release of all persons detained solely for exercising their right to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, including human rights defenders Yara Sallam and Sanaa Ahmed Seif; calls for the immediate release of human rights activist Alaa Abd El Fattah and human rights lawyer Mahinour El-Masry and the overturning of their heavy prison sentences; calls on the authorities to annul the baseless ban against the April 6 Movement and the sentences against the organization’s activists, including Ahmed Maher and Mohamed Adel;

7. salue l'engagement du président Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi d'instaurer un État qui respecte les droits et les libertés, notamment l'état de droit et la liberté d'expression de tous; encourage en outre le gouvernement égyptien à mettre intégralement en œuvre ces droits et libertés fondamentaux;
7. Welcomes the commitments made by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to building a state that respects rights and freedoms, including the rule of law and freedom of expression for all; further encourages the Egyptian Government to implement these fundamental rights and freedoms in full;

11. demande la constitution d'une commission d'enquête indépendante et impartiale afin d'enquêter sur les violations des droits de l'homme commises sous le régime d'Hosni Moubarak, sous la présidence de Mohamed Morsi, à la suite du coup d'État militaire, en particulier le meurtre de plus de 800 personnes au cours de la dispersion du sit-in de Rab'a al-Adawiya, et sous la présidence d'Abdel Fattah al-Sissi, notamment dans les affaires d'exécution extrajudiciaire et d'arrestation arbitraire, d'identifier les responsables et, le cas échéant, de les traduire en justice, et de dédommager les victimes et leurs familles;
11. Calls for an independent and impartial committee of inquiry to be set up to investigate breaches of human rights committed during Mubarak’s regime, under Morsi’s presidency, following the military coup d’état, in particular the killing of more than 800 people during the dismantling of the Rab’a al-Adawiya sit-in, and under Al-Sisi’s presidency, including cases of extrajudicial execution and arbitrary arrest, and for those responsible to be identified and, where appropriate, brought to justice, with compensation offered to victims and their families;
