2. Les navires de l'UE sont autorisés à effectuer des captures, dans le cadre des TAC fixés à l'annexe I, dans les eaux relevant de la juridiction de pêche des Îles Féroé, du Groenland, de l'Islande et de la Norvège, ainsi que dans la zone de pêche située autour de Jan Mayen, selon la condition fixée à l'article 14 et à l'annexe III du présent règlement, ainsi que dans le règlement (CE) no 1006/2008 (25) et dans ses dispositions d'application.
2. EU vessels are authorised to make catches, within the TACs set out in Annex I, in waters falling within the fisheries jurisdiction of the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland and Norway, and the fishing zone around Jan Mayen, subject to the condition set out in Article 14 of and Annex III to this Regulation and in Regulation (EC) No 1006/2008 (25) and its implementing provisions.

Eu égard à la diversité des situations et des zones dans l'ensemble de la Communauté, il convient que la politique de développement des zones de pêche s'inscrive dans une démarche intégrée autour d'une stratégie territoriale pertinente, soit adaptée au contexte local, soit aussi décentralisée que possible, donne la préférence à la participation des acteurs de terrain, s'appuie sur une démarche ascendante, permette des opérations de taille modeste et assure une participation importante des acteurs du secteur privé.
Having regard to the diversity of situations and areas throughout the Community, the policy for the development of fisheries areas should form part of an integrated approach based on an appropriate territorial strategy, be adapted to the local context, be as decentralised as possible, give preference to the participation of actors on the ground, be based on a bottom-up approach, allow small-scale operations and ensure the substantial participation of private sector actors.
