Je salue l’initiative du président de la République française, Nicolas Sarkozy, à qui cette Union pour la Méditerranée tient beaucoup à cœur et je forme tous les vœux de succès au sommet inaugural prévu à Paris le 13 juillet prochain.
I welcome the initiative of the President of the French Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy, to whom this Union for the Mediterranean owes a great deal, and I wish him every success with the inaugural summit, due to be held in Paris on 13 July.
