En se rendant à Varsovie, M. Monti aura ainsi l'occasion de tirer profit des conclusions très encourageantes de la réunion d'Echternach pour mettre concrètement en place, avec les autorités polonaises, un suivi des efforts menés pour aligner la législation et le cadre administratif polonais sur l'acquis communautaire du marché unique, notamment en vue de la réunion des ministres des affaires étrangères des États membres de l'Union européenne et des pays candidats, qui doit se tenir le 30 mars 1998 et lancer le processus d'adhésion.
The visit to Warsaw will be an opportunity to build upon the very positive conclusions of the Echternach meeting to establish with the Polish authorities the practical follow-up as regards consolidation of their efforts to align their legislation and administrative framework with the Single Market, especially in view of the launching of accession negotiations at the 30 March meeting of Foreign Ministers from the EU and the applicant countries.
