Par l’intermédiaire de sa ministre de l’égalité, Margareta Winberg, le gouvernement suédois a, au début du mois d’avril dernier, informé le parlement qu’il était disposé à procéder à une révision de la loi relative à l’avortement afin de déterminer si les femmes ne résidant pas en Suède et ne possédant donc pas la citoyenneté du pays pourraient cependant s’y faire avorter.
In early April 2003, the Swedish Government announced in the Riksdag, through the Equal Opportunities Minister Margareta Winberg, that it was prepared to review the law on abortion to consider whether women who are not resident in Sweden, and therefore not Swedish citizens, should still be able to have an abortion in the country.
