La poursuite des négociations sur la résolution des problèmes politiques du nord de l’Ouganda laisse entrevoir la possibilité encourageante d’un règlement du conflit qui fait rage depuis vingt ans à présent, et les réfugiés internes commencent aujourd’hui à rentrer dans leurs régions d’origine, soutenus dans cette démarche par les mesures humanitaires mises en place par l’UE et par de nombreux États à titre individuel.
Since talks on how to resolve Northern Uganda’s political problems are continuing, there are encouraging prospects of an end being brought to the conflict that has been going on for 20 years now, and internal refugees are now beginning to return to the areas from which they originate, in which process they are being supported by humanitarian measures put in place by the EU and by many individual states.
