Je tiens à faire savoir aux membres de l’Assemblée, qui, j’en suis sûr, vont éprouver un puissant élan de compassion à mon égard, qu’aujourd’hui, après être arrivé bien à temps à l’aéroport d’Edimbourg pour mon enregistrement pour le vol d’Air France à destination de Paris afin d’y prendre l’avion pour Strasbourg, on m’a, pour la deuxième fois consécutive, annoncé qu’il y avait surréservation sur le vol et que je devais passer plutôt par Bruxelles pour arriver ici à 17 heures.
I should like to report to Members of the House, who I am sure will feel an agony of sympathy for me, that today, for the second successive occasion, on turning up at Edinburgh Airport in good time for my check-in for the Air France flight from Edinburgh to Paris to catch the Strasbourg plane, I was told the plane was overbooked and I should re-route myself via Brussels in order to arrive here for 5 o'clock.
