Comme l'a dit mon leader, le sénateur Lynch-Staunton, à propos du projet de loi C-55, il semble que, une fois de plus, les Communes comptent sur le Sénat pour apporter au projet de loi les amendements nécessaires, si j'en juge d'après les commentaires publics que j'ai lus et ceux, consignés dans le hansard, qui ont été formulés pendant l'étude du projet de loi à l'autre endroit et auxquels le sénateur Lynch-Staunton a fait allusion.
As my leader, Senator Lynch-Staunton, said earlier in dealing with Bill C-55, it seems that the House of Commons, once again, is looking to the Senate to make the amendments that are necessary to deal with this legislation, as judged by public comments I have read and also the comments to which Senator Lynch-Staunton referred, which were recorded in Hansard when the bill was debated in the other place.
