La partie africaine a informé les participants à la réunion de la décision prise par le Conseil exécutif de l'UA, selon laquelle l'Afrique compte élaborer et adopter une position commune dans ce domaine ainsi qu'un cadre légal à l'échelle du continent, auquel les États membres de l'UA pourront se référer pour élaborer des lois et des règlements visant à protéger la dignité humaine, les droits de l'homme et les libertés en Afrique.
The African side informed the Meeting on the decision of the AU Executive Council that Africa intends to develop and adopt a common position in this area together with a continental legal framework that will assist AU Member States to prepare laws and regulations aimed at protecting human dignity, human rights and freedoms in Africa.
