Pour s’assurer que les fonds investis répondent réellement aux besoins des communautés minoritaires de langue officielle et qu’ils permettent d’atteindre les objectifs établis à l’intérieur de chaque province et territoire, le ministère aurait dû divulguer les résultats d’évaluation aux ministères de l’Éducation provinciaux, aux conseils scolaires et aux représentants des communautés avant d’enclencher le processus de négociation des nouvelles ententes.
To ensure that the funds invested truly meet the needs of official language minority communities and make it possible to meet the objectives established in each province and territory, the Department should have released the evaluation results to the provincial education ministers, school boards and community representatives before starting the process of negotiating new agreements.
