All the political protagonists from the main European, national and regional institutions involved will be there alongside the members of the CoR’s Commission for Constitutional Affairs: Mr Ingo Friedrich, Vice-President of the European Parliament; Mr Antonio de Lecea, a member of the private office of the President of the European Commission; Mr Francis Jacobs, an Advocate General at the Court of Justice; and numerous representatives from national and regional parliaments.

Following an understanding reached at the Conciliation Committee on 9 March 2000, an agreement on a common draft directive on late payments was confirmed yesterday by Mr Ingo Friedrich, Vice-President of the European Parliament, and Ms. Margarida Figueiredo, Deputy Permanent Representative at the Permanent Representation of Portugal at the European Union.

Pascual FERNÁNDEZ MARTÍNEZ, secrétaire d'État espagnol chargé des eaux et des côtes, est parvenu avec le concours de la Commission - à mener à bon terme le processus de conciliation sur la directive concernant les substances et produits indésirables dans l'alimentation des animaux.
On 19 March the Conciliation Committee, co-chaired by Mr. Ingo FRIEDRICH (PPE-DE), Vice-President of the European Parliament and Mr. Pascual FernÁndez MartÍnez, State Secretary for Water and the Coastline of Spain with the full support of the European Commission - successfully concluded the conciliation process on the undesirable substances in animal feed directive.
