J'ai été déçu de ne pas être sur la liste de ceux qui lui ont rendu hommage initialement car je voulais dire officiellement au sénateur Hays combien j'ai été heureux d'être témoin de sa vie publique extrêmement fructueuse et d'avoir travaillé avec lui pendant certaines périodes de sa vie publique, surtout plus récemment, ces dernières années, au Sénat.
It was disappointing that I was not able to make the list originally as I wanted to officially state for the record to Senator Hays how much I have appreciated the opportunity to observe his tremendously successful public life and to have been able to work with him during parts of that public life and especially most recently over the last few years in the Senate.
