Nous attendons de la Commission qu’elle dégage des fonds pour l’Initiative européenne pour la démocratie et les droits de l’homme afin de nous permettre de renforcer notre coopération avec la société civile iranienne; et je suis reconnaissant au commissaire Figel’ d’avoir cité plusieurs domaines dans lesquels nous pouvons le faire.
What we expect of the Commission is that it should make funds available from the European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights to enable us to step up cooperation with Iranian civil society, and I am obliged to Commissioner Figel’ for mentioning a number of areas in which we can do that.
