Pierre De Bané: Honourable senators, in my capacity as President of the Executive of the Canada-Lebanon Parliamentary Group, I am pleased to draw attention to the presence in Canada of His Excellency Mr. Farès Bouez, who represents Kesrouan in the Lebanese Parliament. He is also the chair of the Canada-Lebanon Parliamentary Group and was his country's minister of foreign affairs for close to eight and a half years, starting in 1990.
