Notre condamnation de cette guerre devrait aussi consister à demander à Israël de payer le coût de la reconstruction du Liban, de mettre fin à son occupation des territoires palestiniens, libanais et syriens, d’interrompre les blocus du Liban et de Gaza, de libérer les ministres et députés palestiniens immédiatement et de négocier l’échange de prisonniers aux mains d’Israël contre les soldats israéliens détenus.
Our condemnation of this war should also involve calling on Israel to pay the costs of rebuilding Lebanon, to end its occupation of the Palestinian, Lebanese and Syrian territories, to end the blockades of Lebanon and Gaza to release Palestinian ministers and Members of Parliament immediately and to negotiate the exchange of prisoners held by Israel for detained Israeli soldiers.

He is not currently the subject of any disciplinary procedure and the honourable Member should be aware that immediately after he ended his period of suspension last April Mr van Buitenen's full pay, conditions, status and pension rights were restored, as were his rights in all other respects.
