Très franchement, je crois c'est beaucoup attribuable aux commentaires anti-américains qu'on a entendus dans les trois débats sur l'Irak, où des députés fédéraux ont dit que les États-Unis étaient une plus grande menace à la sécurité mondiale que Saddam Hussein, où on a entendu des députés du parti au pouvoir tenir des propos désobligeants à l'égard des Américains—sans compter les propos très anti-américains du premier ministre lui-même—et on entend maintenant un ministre—le ministre des Ressources naturelles, je crois—faire des déclarations désobligeantes aussi.
Quite frankly, I think it has more to do with the anti-American comments coming from three debates on Iraq in which we've heard members of Parliament say the United States is more of a threat to world security than Saddam Hussein, in which we've heard the Americans being called various names by members of the governing party—including the Prime Minister's very anti-American comments—and now with a cabinet minister—the natural resources minister, I believe—making his statements.
