- (IT) Monsieur le Président, nous remercions avant tout Mme Buitenweg parce qu'elle a su améliorer la proposition de la Commission. Mais nous pensons que Mme la commissaire Diamantopoulou mérite également un remerciement tout particulier parce qu'elle a su saisir l'importance de l'introduction de l'article 13 dans les Traités et traduire une règle abstraite en un paquet de directives.
– (IT) Mr President, first of all, we would like to thank the rapporteur for improving upon the Commission’s proposal, but we also feel that particular thanks should go to Commissioner Diamantopoulou for grasping the significance of the inclusion of Article 13 in the Treaties and her skill in converting an abstract norm into a package of directives.
