D. considérant que des signes alarmants donnent à penser que des violations graves des normes et libertés démocratiques en Ukraine ont été commises et que de telles violations réduisent encore les probabilités de surmonter la situation socio‑économique tendue et les hostilités politiques dans le pays; que parmi ces violations figurent la dissolution du groupe parlementaire du parti communiste d'Ukraine et le procès intenté afin d'obtenir l'interdiction de ce parti, ainsi qu'une nouvelle législation dite de lutte contre le terrorisme, qui va à l'encontre des obligations de l'Ukraine en tant que membre du Conseil de l'Europe et viole l'accord d'association que le pays a signé avec l'Union européenne en autorisant les autorités à interdire ou à restreindre la diffusion d'émissions radiophoniques ou télévisées, à limiter ou à interdire les activités des médias, y compris sur internet, à restreindre ou à interdire la production ou la diffusion de documents imprimés, ainsi qu'à limiter ou à supprimer les services de télécommunications et l'utilisation des réseaux publics de télécommunications; que le nouveau gouvernement ne parvient pas à contrôler le mouvement nationaliste violent et tristement célèbre Secteur droit; que l'évolution de la situation fait peser une grave menace sur le déroulement libre et régulier des élections législatives à venir;
D. whereas there are worrying signs of serious violations of democratic rules and freedoms in Ukraine, which are further aggravating the chances of overcoming the tense socio-economic situation and political hostilities in the country, such as the dissolution of the parliamentary group of the Communist Party of Ukraine, the trial which is intended to lead to the prohibition of that party, and a new law which allows the authorities to prohibit or restrict television and radio broadcasting, to restrict or terminate media activities, including on the internet, to restrict or prohibit the production or distribution of printed materials and to restrict or terminate telecommunication services and the use of public telecommunications networks – new so-called anti-terrorism legislation, which violates Ukraine’s obligations as a member of the Council of Europe and the association agreement with the EU; whereas the new government is failing to control the infamous and violent Right Sector movement; whereas these developments are seriously jeopardising the free and fair conduct of the forthcoming parliamentary elections;

Seven goals were developed for the Sanaugait strategy including increasing the quality of Nunavut art; maximizing artists' profits through participation in the value-added chain; securing market share through protection of intellectual property rights; securing market share through international brand recognition; expanding international market share; providing current and accurate information about the arts sector; and promoting and celebrating the contribution of Nunavut arts to the global society.
