Les contributions obligatoires des membres consommateurs de l’Organisation internationale des bois tropicaux étant évaluées principalement en fonction du volume de leurs importations de bois tropical, l’Union contribuera au compte administratif de l’organisation internationale des bois tropicaux dès que l’accord de 2006 entrera en vigueur, tandis que les États membres et l’Union pourront participer par des contributions financières volontaires aux actions prévues, via les comptes financés par des contributions volontaires de l’organisation.
As the compulsory contributions by the consumer members of the International Tropical Timber Organisation are assessed primarily in terms of the volume of tropical timber they import, the Union will contribute to the Administrative Account of the International Tropical Timber Organisation, once the 2006 Agreement enters into force, while the Member States, as well as the Union, will be able to make voluntary financial contributions to the planned actions via the voluntary contribution accounts of the Organisation.

The amounts equal to those resulting from the application of the compulsory modulation under Article 69(5a) together with, as from 2011, the amounts generated under Article 136 of Council Regulation (EC) No 73/2009 of 19 January 2009 establishing common rules for direct support schemes for farmers under the common agricultural policy and establishing certain support schemes for farmers and the amount referred to in Article 69(2a) of this Regulation shall not be taken into account in the EAFRD total contribution from which the minimum Community financial contribution per axis is calculated as provided for in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article.

(12) For procedural reasons, all measures entailing public financing over and above the provisions concerning obligatory financial contributions contained in Regulation (EC) No 2792/1999 or in Council Regulation (EC) No 2370/2002 of 20 December 2002 establishing an emergency Community measure for scrapping fishing vessels(6) should be treated as a whole under Articles 87, 88 and 89 of the Treaty.
