J’espère qu’au-delà de ces déclarations et de la résolution que nous ne manquerons pas, j’en suis sûr, de voter à ce propos, nous aurons l’occasion de voir la mise en place et l’adoption très rapide de mesures concrètes sous la forme d’un conseil d’association et d’un sous-comité «droits de l’homme». Je terminerai, Monsieur le Président, en demandant simplement que soit associée à ce comité «droits de l’homme» la société civile tunisienne qui est complètement bafouée aujourd’hui.
Beyond these statements and the resolution we must surely adopt on this subject, I hope that we shall have the opportunity to see the establishment and rapid adoption of specific mechanisms in the form of an Association Council and a Subcommittee on Human Rights. I shall close, Mr President, by simply asking that civil society in Tunisia, which is treated with utter contempt today, be associated with this human-rights committee.
