Le nombre d'articles a été ramené à 177 depuis la signature, en décembre 2007, du traité modifiant le traité sur l'Union européenne (traité UE) et le traité instituant la Communauté européenne (traité CE).
The number of articles was reduced to 177 following the signature in December 2007 of the Treaty amending the Treaty on European Union (EU Treaty) and the Treaty establishing the European Community (EC Treaty).

En adhérant à l'Union européenne, la Croatie accepte, sans réserve, le traité sur l'Union européenne, le traité sur le fonctionnement de l'Union européenne et le traité instituant la Communauté européenne de l'énergie atomique, y compris tous leurs objectifs et l'ensemble des décisions prises depuis leur entrée en vigueur, ainsi que les options prises en vue du développement et du renforcement de l'Union européenne et de cette Communauté.
In joining the European Union, Croatia accepts, without reserve, the Treaty on European Union, the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community including all their objectives and all decisions taken since their entry into force, as well as the options taken in respect of the development and strengthening of the European Union and that Community.

Il y a lieu de modifier l’article 31 de l’accord intérimaire afin de tenir compte des nouvelles langues reconnues comme langues officielles de l’Union depuis la signature dudit accord, par l’échange de lettres entre la Communauté européenne et le Turkménistan modifiant l’accord intérimaire sur le commerce et les mesures d’accompagnement entre la Communauté européenne, la Communauté européenne du charbon et de l’acier et la Communauté européenne de l’énergie atomique, d’une part, et le Turkménistan, d’autre part, en ce qui concerne les versions linguistiques faisant foi (ci-après dénommé «échange de lettres») (2).
Article 31 of the Interim Agreement should be amended in order to take into account the new official languages of the Union since the signature of the Interim Agreement, by the Exchange of Letters between the European Community and Turkmenistan amending the Interim Agreement on trade and trade-related matters between the European Community, the European Coal and Steel Community and the European Atomic Energy Community, of the one part, and Turkmenistan, of the other part, as regards the authentic language versions (‘Exchange of Letters’) (2).

Although health issues have featured in the Treaties since the beginnings of the construction of Europe, it is only since the ratification of the Treaty of Maastricht that the Community has been able to implement a genuine public health strategy: five specific action programmes (cancer, AIDS, drug dependence, health promotion and health monitoring) have been adopted and three others proposed (rare diseases, injuries, pollution-related diseases) alongside other initiatives (reports on the state of health in the European Community, recommendations on the safety of blood products, etc.).

7.1. Les chevaux enregistrés destinés à l'importation permanente dans la Communauté doivent avoir séjourné dans la zone de contrôle depuis trois mois, ou depuis leur naissance s'ils sont âgés de moins de trois mois ou depuis leur introduction s'ils ont été importés directement de la Communauté européenne au cours des trois mois précédents.
7.1. Registered horses intended for permanent imports into the European Community must have been resident in the free area for three months or since birth if they are less than three months old or since entry if they were imported directly from the European Community during the previous three months.

Ainsi, la Commission a proposé une transition graduelle de ces deux secteurs dans le traité instituant la Communauté européenne dont les règles s'appliquent depuis l'abrogation du traité CECA au commerce du charbon et de l'acier.
