Le groupe des Socialistes et Démocrates insiste pour que cet accord intérimaire ne s’applique que pendant 12 mois et qu’un nouvel accord soit négocié avec le Parlement en tant que colégislateur, ceci afin que nous puissions garantir un juste équilibre entre la protection des droits fondamentaux des citoyens européens et la lutte contre le terrorisme, qui est certes importante et nécessaire.
The Socialist and Democrat Group is clear that this interim agreement should apply only for 12 months and that a new agreement should be negotiated with Parliament as co-legislator so that we in this House can ensure that delicate balance of protecting the fundamental rights of European citizens in the important and critical fight against terrorism.
