4. 4. An authorised extension of rules may continue to apply after the expiry of the initial period of time, including by tacit agreement, without an explicit renewal of the authorisation, provided that the Member State concerned has notified the Commission, at least one month before the expiry of such initial period, of the additional period of application and the Commission has either authorised such further application, or not objected to it within one month of receipt of such notification.

Against this background and considering the short-lived nature of the project bond pilot phase, the Commission wishes to clarify that the expression ‘report every six months during the pilot phase’ used in recital 14, in Article 1(3)(b), Article 1(4), Article 2(3)(b) and Article 2(7), is that the Commission will inform Council and Parliament by appearing before either institution with suitable support material rather than completing an official Commission report, which would require disproportionate effort compared to the limited scope of the pilot phase.

3. The organisers shall ensure that personal data collected for a given citizen’s initiative are not used for any purpose other than their indicated support for that initiative, and shall destroy all statements of support received for that initiative and any copies thereof at the latest one month after submitting that initiative to the Commission in accordance with Article 9 or 18 months after the date of registration of the proposed citizens’ initiative, whichever is the earlier.

5. Un acte délégué adopté en vertu de l'article 2, paragraphe 3, et de l'article 10 du présent règlement n'entre en vigueur que s'il n'a donné lieu à aucune objection du Parlement européen ou du Conseil pendant la période de deux mois suivant sa notification à ces deux institutions ou, avant l’expiration de ce délai, si le Parlement européen et le Conseil ont tous deux informé la Commission de leur intention de ne pas formuler d’objections. Cette période peut être prolongée de deux mois à l'initiative du Parlement européen ou du Conseil.
5. A delegated act adopted pursuant to Articles 2(3) and 10 of this Regulation shall enter into force only if no objection has been expressed either by the European Parliament or the Council within a period of 2 months of notification of that act to the European Parliament and the Council or if, before the expiry of that period, the European Parliament and the Council have both informed the Commission that they will not object. That period shall be extended by 2 months at the initiative of the European Parliament or the Council.
