J'aimerais réellement que le comité remédie à cela, car le résultat final sera que des centaines de milliers de ces personnes qui s'adressent à moi et à mes collègues à travers le pays et dans le monde vont choisir un autre pays, si on va leur enlever leur statut, si on ne va pas renouveler leur carte de résident permanent et leur permettre de devenir citoyens.
I would really like to see this committee do something about that, because the end result is that many hundreds of thousands of those people are saying to me and to my colleagues in the industry across Canada and around the world that if they are stripped of their status, if they're not given a new PR card and not able to become citizens, they will choose another country. They'll either go back to their country of origin or.a lot of people are looking at New Zealand or Australia.
