Au plan des relations de travail, à l'heure actuelle, hormis la décision Air Canada, la loi ne pose pas de difficulté en ce sens que, même dans les cas où la convention collective comportait des dispositions en matière d'accès aux dossiers d'emploi, la Commission d'accès à l'information a toujours considéré que cela ne lui faisait pas perdre juridiction et que, malgré tout, elle pouvait donner effet à la fois à la convention et à la loi dans la mesure où le contenu de la loi s'avérait être supérieur à ce que comportait la convention.
Concerning labour relations, at the present time, apart from the Air Canada decision, the Act does not raise any difficulty inasmuch as, even where a collective agreement contained provisions for access to employment files, the Commission d'accès à l'information has always deemed that this would not cause it to lose any jurisdiction, and in any case, it could give effect to the agreement and to the Act if the content of the Act was superior to the agreement.
