The European Commission has approved the acquisition of sole control by Tate Lyle Plc of Amylum UK Ltd and Amylum Europe NV, Belgium, both previously jointly controlled by Tate and Compagnie Industrielle et Financiere des Produits Amylaces SA (CIP).
