Comme l'a affirmé mon collègue Jonas Sjöstedt, quelques amendements signés par trois groupes politiques de cette Assemblée reçoivent particulièrement notre soutien, mais je vais faire référence à l'amendement 54, qui nous semble important alors que nous sommes principalement en contact avec des populations d'Amérique latine et qui se réfère aux aspects socio-économiques dérivés des répercussions que produisent les organismes génétiquement modifiés sur la protection de la diversité biologique et à leur impact sur les communautés indigènes et locales.
There are certain amendments – as Mr Sjöstedt has said – which have been signed by three political groups in this House, which we support in particular, but I am going to refer to Amendment No 54, which we feel is important since we are in contact, above all, with the people of Latin America, and which relates to the socio-economic aspects resulting from the effects of genetically modified organisms on the protection of biological diversity and their impact on indigenous and local communities.
