G. whereas according to a November 2012 OSCE report, there are eight Latin-script schools that are able to continue teaching with the help of the Ministry of Education, six of them on Transnistrian-controlled territory and two relocated to neighbouring Moldovan-controlled territory on the left bank, resulting in serious daily transport problems for the pupils; whereas the report highlighted that the situation of these schools remains urgent, issues of concern including rental contracts and conditions of premises, freedom of movement, transport of goods, health, safety and sanitary inspections, declining pupil numbers, pressure or intimidation towards parents and teachers, legal status, and the specific situations of the property in Rîbnița and the schools formerly located in Grigoriopol and Dubăsari;
G. overwegende dat er volgens een OVSE-verslag van november 2012 acht scholen zijn die het Latijnse schrift hanteren en die met behulp van het ministerie van Onderwijs kunnen blijven lesgeven, waarvan zes scholen op grondgebied in Transnistrische handen en twee scholen die zijn verplaatst naar aangrenzend grondgebied op de linkeroever dat onder Moldavische controle staat, hetgeen resulteert in ernstige dagelijkse vervoersproblemen voor de leerlingen; overwegende dat de situatie van deze scholen volgens het verslag nog steeds urgent is, waarbij de punten van zorg onder meer betrekking hebben op huurovereenkomsten en de toestand van de gebouwen, vrijheid van verkeer, vervoer van goederen, gezondheid, veiligheid en sanitaire inspecties, dalende leerlingenaantallen, druk op of intimidatie van ouders en docenten, de juridische status, en de specifieke omstandigheden van het eigendom in Rîbnița en de scholen die voorheen gevestigd waren in Grigoriopol en Dubăsari;

10. Considers that European consumers should have access to the information necessary to allow them to choose the best sources of nutrients needed to achieve and maintain the optimal nutrition intake best suited to their individual lifestyle and health; believes that greater attention should be paid to improving the health literacy of citizens to empower them to make effective decisions about their own and their children's diets; considers that informing and educating parents on nutritional issues should be carried out via the relevant professionals (teachers, cultural events organisers and health professionals) at the appropriate locations; is convinced that consumer information, nutritional education and food labelling should be based on consumer research;
10. is van mening dat Europese consumenten toegang moeten hebben tot de nodige informatie om de beste bronnen van voedingsstoffen te kunnen kiezen die zij nodig hebben om een optimaal voedingspatroon te bereiken en te handhaven dat het best is toegesneden op hun individuele leefstijl en gezondheidstoestand; is van mening dat meer aandacht besteed moet worden aan het verbeteren van de gezondheidsvaardigheden van de burgers om hen in staat te stellen doeltreffende beslissingen te nemen over hun eigen voeding en die van hun kinderen; is van mening dat het informeren en voorlichten van ouders inzake voedingskwesties uitgevoerd moet worden door daarvoor geschikte professionals (onderwijzers, organisatoren van culturele evenementen, gezondheidswerkers) op daarvoor geschikte locaties; is ervan overtuigd dat voorlichting aan de consument, voedingsonderwijs en etikettering van levensmiddelen gebaseerd moeten zijn op consumentenonderzoek;

Encourage the production of advisory materials for parents to help them discuss alcohol issues with their children, and promote their dissemination via local networks such as schools, health care services, libraries, community centres as well as via the Internet;
