(132) When taking decisions or actions under this Directive, competent authorities and resolution authorities should always have due regard to the impact of their decisions and actions on financial stability in other Member States and on the economic situation in other Member States and should give consideration to the significance of any subsidiary or branch for the financial sector and the economy of the Member State where such subsidiary or branch is established or located, even in cases where the subsidiary or branch concerned is of lesser importance for the consolidated group.

Is convinced that green sustainable jobs must not be a mere appendage, but that business and society as a whole must be sustainably organised; is aware that there is no branch of the economy that can be separated off and called ‘environmental protection’ or the ‘environment industry’, since the activity of environmental protection ties in with many traditional sectors such as the manufacturing industries, the construction industry and the service industries; calls, therefore, for the adoption, as a working definition, of the ILO's definition, according to which all jobs which promote sustainable development are green sustainable jobs; points out that the definition includes, firstly, jobs which directly reduce consumption of energy and resources, protect ecosystems and biodiversity and minimise waste production and air pollution and, secondly, all jobs which reduce the environmental footprint; recognises that, owing to the relative nature of the definition, the job potential cannot be definitively determined;
14. is ervan overtuigd dat groene duurzame banen geen aanhangsel mogen zijn, maar dat de economie en de samenleving als geheel duurzaam georganiseerd moeten zijn; is zich bewust van het feit dat er geen aparte bedrijfstak „milieubescherming” of „milieu-industrie” bestaat, omdat de activiteit op het gebied van milieubescherming verweven is met vele klassieke sectoren, zoals de productiesector, de bouw en de dienstensector; roept daarom op om voorlopig de IAO-definitie als werkdefinitie over te nemen op grond waarvan alle arbeidsplaatsen die een duurzame ontwikkeling bevorderen, als groene duurzame banen aangemerkt dienen te worden; stelt dat de definitie zowel arbeidsplaatsen omvat die direct tot een vermindering van het energie- en grondstoffenverbruik leiden, die ecosystemen en biodiversiteit beschermen en die de afvalproductie en luchtvervuiling minimaliseren, als arbeidsplaatsen die de ecologische voetafdruk verminderen; onderkent dat de definitie van het werkgelegenheidspotentieel als gevolg van het relatieve karakter van die afbakening niet definitief vastgelegd kan worden;

Calls on the Commission and the Member States to support the creation of national statistical registers for social economy enterprises, to establish national satellite accounts for each institutional sector and branch of activity and allow for this data to be collated by Eurostat, also by making use of competences available in universities;
