TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

S. whereas the competences and skills of migrant workers are often neither properly recognised nor made the best use of, and whereas migrant workers often face difficulties in accessing the labour market, education and training, also because of the lack of knowledge of their labour and social rights and their lack of involvement in workers' associations; whereas integration policies which favour access to education, training and employment for the immigrant population can therefore make an important contribution to meeting future labour market needs,
S. overwegende dat de vaardigheden en bekwaamheden van werknemers vaak onvoldoende worden erkend en niet optimaal worden benut, en overwegende dat migrerende werknemers het vaak moeilijk hebben om toegang te krijgen tot de arbeidsmarkt, onderwijs en opleiding, ook wegens een gebrek aan kennis van hun arbeids- en sociale rechten en hun gebrek aan betrokkenheid bij werknemersorganisaties; overwegende dat een integratiebeleid waarmee de toegang van migranten tot onderwijs, beroepsopleidingen en werk wordt bevorderd, daarom een belangrijke bijdrage kan leveren aan het voldoen aan toekomstige behoeften op de arbeidsmarkt;

6. Calls on the Commission to propose the addition to the EGF Regulation of an obligation for Member States to support the participation of a workers' association during the implementation phase; calls on the Commission to organise exchanges of experiences and good practices concerning workers' involvement in the implementation of the EGF, so that workers in existing and new cases may benefit from the expertise gained in previous cases;
6. verzoekt de Commissie met een voorstel te komen om aan de ESF-verordening de verplichting voor de lidstaten toe te voegen de participatie van een werknemersvereniging bij de implementatiefase van de EGF-verordening te ondersteunen; verzoekt de Commissie uitwisselingen van ervaringen en positieve praktijken inzake de participatie van werknemers bij de implementatie van het EGF te organiseren, zodat werknemers in bestaande en nieuwe gevallen kunnen profiteren van de ervaringen die in voorgaande gevallen zijn opgedaan;
