At its plenary session today, the Economic and Social Committee adopted an opinion on the proposal for a directive amending Directive 79/112/EEC on the labelling of foodstuffs (rapporteur: Leopold Erich Maurer, Employers' Group, Austria; co-rapporteurs: Ann Davison, Various Interests Group, UK and Ada Maddocks, Workers' Group, UK).
