5. Considers that the widespread, targeted and intrusive inspections, confiscation of property and administrative fines imposed on Russian NGOs and their activists allegedly receiving foreign funding are inadmissible and interfere with the right to freedom of association; criticises furthermore the raid and pressure applied upon international political foundations; considers it deeply regrettable that a few NGOs are already facing trial, like Memorial, in St Petersburg, or have already been sentenced, like GOLOS and the Levada Centre; is concerned by the investigations launched against international non-governmental organisations seeking to build democracy in Russia, including international institutes;
5. is van mening dat de wijdverbreide, gerichte en indringerige inspecties, de confiscatie van eigendommen en het opleggen van administratiefrechtelijke boetes aan Russische ngo's en hun activisten die naar verluidt buitenlandse steun zouden ontvangen, onaanvaardbaar zijn en indruisen tegen het recht op vrijheid van vereniging; hekelt voorts het feit dat er invallen worden uitgevoerd bij en pressie wordt uitgeoefend op een aantal internationale politieke stichtingen; acht het zeer te betreuren dat enkele ngo's reeds voor het gerecht zijn gedaagd, zoals Memorial in Sint-Petersburg, of al zijn veroordeeld, zoals Golos en het Levada Centrum; is bezorgd over de onderzoeken die zijn ingesteld tegen internationale niet-gouvernementele organisaties die actief zijn bij de opbouw van de democratie in Rusland, met inbegrip van internationale instituten;

5. The recognised organisation, its surveyors and its technical staff shall carry out their work without in any way harming the intellectual property rights of shipyards, equipment suppliers, and shipowners, including patents, licences, know-how, or any other kind of knowledge whose use is legally protected at Community or national level. Without prejudice to the assessment powers of Member States and the Commission and in particular under Article 9, the recognised organisation, and the surveyors and technical staff employed by it may under no circumstances pass on or divulge commercially relevant data obtained in the course of their work of inspecting, checking, and monitoring ships under construction or repair.
5. De erkende organisatie, evenals haar deskundigen en technisch personeel , verrichten hun werkzaamheden zonder op enigerlei wijze afbreuk te doen aan de intellectuele-eigendomsrechten van scheepswerven, leveranciers van scheepsuitrusting en rederijen, met inbegrip van octrooien, licenties, knowhow of enigerlei andere vorm van kennis waarvan het gebruik op communautair of nationaal niveau rechtsbescherming geniet; onverminderd de beoordelingsbevoegdheden van de lidstaten en de Commissie, en met name uit hoofde van artikel 9, zijn de erkende organisatie, de deskundigen of het technisch personeel ║ dat zij in dienst heeft, in geen enkel geval gerechtigd commercieel relevante gegevens die zij in het kader van hun inspectie-, verificatie- of controlewerkzaamheden met betrekking tot schepen in aanbouw of schepen waaraan reparaties zijn verricht hebben verkregen, over te dragen of te verspreiden.

5.
