Other potential impacts of European integration are also discussed in today’s politically correct rhetoric, but these tend to be of a secondary and irrelevant nature. They have more to do with the ambitions of professional politicians and the people connected with them than with the interests of ordinary Member State citizens.
In de huidige politiek correcte retoriek worden vaak ook andere mogelijke positieve effecten van de Europese eenwording genoemd, maar die zijn eerder van secundair en ondergeschikt belang en gaan eerder over de ambities van politici en de mensen om hen heen dan over de belangen van de gewone burger in de lidstaten.
