It will be appreciated that this originally emerged under Milosevic – I shall not go through the whole story – but now there is only one thing to say to the NLA and to its remnants in northern Macedonia, and that is: the struggle is over now; all weapons must be handed in now; there is now no reason at all for the NLA to continue with the activities of which it has been guilty – and I use the word ‘guilty’ advisedly, for the NLA is of course a very mixed organisation, certain aspects of which do not bear too close examination.
On sait très bien que l'UCK est née sous Milosevitch - je ne reviendrai pas en détail sur toute cette histoire - mais il n'y a plus qu'une seule chose à dire à l'UCK et à ce qu'il reste d'elle dans le nord de la Macédoine : le combat est terminé ; il faut maintenant déposer toutes les armes et il n'y a plus aucune raison de poursuivre les activités dont l'UCK s'est rendue coupable - et j'emploie sciemment les termes "s'est rendue coupable" - car l'UCK est une organisation très composite dont certaines choses ne sont plus acceptables aujourd'hui.
