I merely reminded him of one thing – and I did so without joining in the debate with Mr Tusk, the Prime Minister – that is, that it was in my office, at three o’clock in the morning, in July 2007, under the German Presidency, with Mr Zapatero, Tony Blair and Mr Juncker, that we obtained the signature of the Polish President on what was to become the Treaty of Lisbon, while he was in conversation with his twin brother, the Prime Minister at the time, in Warsaw.
Je lui ai simplement rappelé une chose – et je le fais sans me mêler du débat avec le Premier ministre Tusk –, à savoir que c’est dans mon bureau, à trois heures du matin, au mois de juillet 2007, sous la Présidence allemande, avec le Premier ministre Zapatero, avec Tony Blair, avec le Premier ministre Juncker, que nous avons obtenu la signature du président polonais sur ce qui allait devenir le traité de Lisbonne, alors qu’il s’entretenait avec son frère jumeau, Premier ministre à l’époque, à Varsovie.
