Participants at the first meeting of the group include three European Commissioners: Erkki Liikanen (Enterprise and Information Society), Pascal Lamy (Trade), and Philippe Busquin (Research), Ministers from four EU Member States: Nicole Fontaine (France), Antonio Marzano (Italy), Georg W. Adamowitsch (Germany) and Maria Ventura (Portugal), Concepció Ferrer, Member of the European Parliament, and representatives from industry, retailers, distributors, European trade associations, trade unions and local textile and clothing associations.
