When the committee met with the leader of the Zimbabwean delegation and another member during our session last April, the year before, in Bali, we were pleased that two outrageous incidents involving Mr. Biti and Mr. Chamisa, namely the systematic beating up by the police of participants in a prayer meeting on March 11, 2007 and then later beating up Mr. Chamisa at Harare International Airport were being examined by Parliament.
Quand le comité avait rencontré le chef de la délégation zimbabwéenne et un autre de ses membres en avril de l'an dernier, à Bali, nous avions été heureux d'apprendre que le Parlement se penchait sur deux incidents choquants mettant en cause M. Biti et M. Chamisa, c'est-à-dire les agressions systématiques par la police contre des participants à une séance de prière, le 11 mars 2007, et, plus tard, la violence à l'endroit de M. Chamisa à l'aéroport international d'Harare.
