3. Where, in the course of the monitoring of conformity following the issue of a certificate, a notified conformity assessment body finds that a product no longer complies with the requirements of the conformity assessment scheme, it shall require the importer to take appropriate corrective measures and shall suspend or withdraw the certificate if necessary.

Lorsque, au cours du contrôle de la conformité faisant suite à la délivrance d'un certificat, un organisme d'évaluation de la conformité notifié constate qu'un produit ne répond plus aux exigences définies dans le système d'évaluation de la conformité, il invite l'importateur à prendre les mesures correctives appropriées et suspend ou retire le certificat si nécessaire.

(13a) The certificate should be rectified where, due to an obvious error or inaccuracy, such as typing errors, errors of transcription or copying, the certificate does not correctly reflect the protection measure, or be withdrawn if the certificate was clearly wrongly granted, for example when it was used for a measure that falls outside the scope of this Regulation or when it was issued in breach of the criteria set out in Article 5a.

5. Where, in the course of monitoring conformity of production following the issuing of a type-approval certificate, a technical service finds that a vehicle, system, component or separate technical unit no longer complies with this Regulation, it shall request the type approval authority to require the manufacturer to take appropriate corrective measures and it shall request the type-approval authority to suspend or withdraw the type-approval certificate unless appropriate corrective measures have been taken to the satisfaction of the technical service.
