The new Tacis Regulation 2000 2006 which provides grant-financed technical assistance to 13 countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, sets out new priorities, including co-operation in the field of justice and home affairs. More emphasis is placed on actions of common interest of the EU and the partner states, as well as on results, effectiveness and efficiency. The Partnership and Co-operation Agreements with CIS-countries also cover specific aspects of justice and home affairs. In this context, the Tacis-funds will finance projects to combat trafficking in women and children.
Les accords de partenariat et de coopération avec les pays de la CEI couvrent également des aspects spécifiques de la justice et des affaires intérieures. Dans ce contexte, les fonds TACIS financeront des projets visant à lutter contre la traite des femmes et des enfants.
