4. Among its provisions, this agreement includes the possibility for national officials to be subordinated to the authorities of the other Member State, for the exercise of certain coercive powers on the territory of the other Member State, for participation in activities for the protection of persons and property on the territory of the other Member State, for the transfer and matching of DNA profiles, for simplification and extension of cross-border surveillance and hot pursuit, and for allowing surveillance also for the protection of persons and property.
