I should like to close by thanking all the members of the delegation who helped bring about a satisfactory outcome at conciliation, the Commission and Commissioner Byrne personally and the Spanish Presidency for working constructively with the European Parliament delegation in a bid to reach an agreement which will allow this programme to be put into practice quickly.
Pour conclure mon intervention, je voudrais remercier tous les membres de la délégation qui ont œuvré au résultat satisfaisant de cette conciliation, mais aussi la Commission et, plus personnellement, M. le commissaire Byrne lui-même. Je voudrais également remercier la présidence espagnole pour la coopération constructive qu’elle a eue avec la délégation du Parlement afin d’atteindre un accord sur la base duquel le programme pourra être rapidement mis en œuvre.
